Our Mission is to champion San Jose Rotary’s journey to become climate friendly and carbon neutral through education, projects, and service.

Monthly Education Series: (4th Wednesday of each month 11:30 am – 12:15 pm and 1:15 pm – 1:30 pm at the Rotary Summit Center before and after club meetings) 

A year-round initiative providing Rotary Club members with accessible, actionable sustainability education. Through brief monthly presentations, table displays, and educational materials, this series makes environmental action approachable for all members.

2025 Recognition by the City of San Jose

Our committee, in partnership with Past President Heather Lerner, received an official City of San Jose Commendation for outstanding efforts to modify Wednesday luncheon operations at the Summit Center and moving us closer to a carbon neutral footprint through the Bright Action Program in 2023 and 2024.
