The Syd Hardt Legacy Society was established in honor of a generous $750,000 bequest from Rotarian Syd Hardt in 2010. This gift inspired the creation of a Legacy Society sub-committee within the Rotary Club of San Jose Foundation, dedicated to strengthening the Foundation’s long-term financial health and ensuring its impact for generations to come. The Society encourages members to consider legacy giving by naming the Rotary Club of San Jose Foundation as a beneficiary in their estate plans, retirement accounts, or life insurance policies.
