Youth Exchange

Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one young person at a time. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries.

The program lasts one full academic year, and it includes FREE tuition, room and board, and a monthly stipend. The student’s family is responsible for airfare, medical insurance, personal and optional expenses.

What our committee does:

Our committee manages inbound and outbound students of the program. We interface with Rotary District 5170 and Rotary International to draw upon their combined resources that make this unique program possible. Our committee also manages the vetting process of hosting families to ensure students are matched with a family and environment that supports the needs of the student’s learning objectives.
